This CoLab is on the topic of Community Energy Planning (CEP) for Indigenous communities to develop sustainable energy futures and clean energy projects. The focus of the session is how communities can get started in the CEP process; from identifying needs and opportunities, engaging the community, and how the planning process can be supported by regional programs. Our host, Siobhan Slade (NunatuKavut Community Council) will be joined by Colin Asselstine (Kluane Community Development Corporation), Michelle Myers (Xeni Gwet'in First Nations) and Adrienne Fox (Independent Electricity System Operator), to discuss their experiences and lead discussions with participants which will foster collaboration.

Hi folks - please note the new date for this event!
Hi folks, I was having Network issues and by the time I was able to connect I completely forgotten about this webinar. Was this recorded? I'm sure the presentation would be very helpful.
Hi Alex! Thanks for the question. We did indeed record the session and I will be posting it with the deck to the Community Energy Planning Forum today. Also, look for the summary paper that will be posted in the next couple of days which will give you a good overview of the discussion.
Thank you to those who attended yesterday's session. I have posted the deck and recording of the webinar in the Community Energy Planning Forum, or you can follow these links: https://icenet.work/spaces/17/community-energy-planning/files/2659/2019-05-30-ice-colab-deck https://icenet.work/spaces/17/community-energy-planning/files/2658/2019-05-30-ice-colab-initiating-community-energy-planning
