The Capacity Building Stream aims to support community-level capacity building projects that will increase clean energy opportunities and reduce diesel reliance in rural and remote communities. The Program supports a broad range of project activities, including community energy planning, skills and training, peer-to-peer learning, and energy literacy. The total average funding for each project is expected to be approximately $100,000 to $300,000, with some variation based on scope of activities and length of project. The deadline for preliminary proposal submissions (5-page maximum document) is 23:59 EDT, March 29, 2019.
