CERRC Capacity Building Round 2 Launch

The Capacity Building Stream aims to support community-level capacity building projects that will increase clean energy opportunities and reduce diesel reliance in rural and remote communities. The Program supports a broad range of project activities, including community energy planning, skills and training, peer-to-peer learning, and energy literacy. The total average funding for each project is expected to be approximately $100,000 to $300,000, with some variation based on scope of activities and length of project. The deadline for preliminary proposal submissions (5-page maximum document) is 23:59 EDT, March 29, 2019.

The CERRC Capacity Building Team will be holding webinars to discuss the program and answer questions on the following dates:

  • Monday, February 18, 2019, from 1 to 3 pm EST (English)
  • Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 1 to 3 pm EST (French)
