Are you an Indigenous tradesperson seeking to enter the green building sector? Do you want to support sustainable, healthy, quality homes?

Training Opportunity: Prepare for a rewarding career as an Indigenous Energy Assessor with the Aboriginal Housing Management Association in B.C. 

AHMA is seeking candidates to participate in a new training program that will offer skills development in Building Condition Assessments, Energy Efficiency, and Audit Planner. 

Training provided on: 

  • How to Conduct Building Audit – Best Practice

  • How to Use the Audit Planner – Web-based Database System​.

Desired Prerequisites:

  1. Be Indigenous

  2. A high-school diploma

  3. Work Experience in the Building Trades or other forms of service related to social housing, and/or knowledge of building components.

  4. A resident of B.C.
