We are seeking a highly self-motivated and autonomous team member to manage the grant administration process and provide support to Indigenous communities, individuals, and employers in making this process both simple and accessible. Working alongside the programs’ leads, the program officer will be expected to assist in a range of areas that includes: administering funding, gathering participant information, building relationships with funders, evaluating contribution proposals, making recommendations and developing guidelines for contribution programs. This position requires an individual who has an appetite for taking initiative to get things done and can work independently. Candidates for this position should have exceptional interpersonal and writing skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
